This is the core term in Digital Marketing. Whoever you'll be talking to or Wherever you’ll be searching, SEO is the 1st term will be there. As Content Marketing is KING, SEO is the QUEEN of Digital Marketing. SEO specifically stands for his ORGANIC activities. You don’t have to pay anything for it, you just have to be more patient, it won’t take that long but yes it is more time taking than Paid. But the main thing is SEO is paid free for flashing your website in Google and attracting potential customers from there without paying anything at all.


How Does SEO Work?



Before actually start doing SEO for your website you should know how it works and which things should consider and shouldn't, this is all technical part so be ready.

There are search engines like Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo and many more.. Now you’ve website and are willing to do SEO, and suddenly your website is all over ROCKING. The reason behind this is, the search engine has their spiders (Not like in our house) that come to our website crawl our page (take the information present in our website) then Index (Store the data in their database) & then Ranking. This is the simple process search engines have been following since starting for every website. There are mainly 4 types of SEO. and you need to follow those to gain more traffic and to get more potential customers.

I know you’ve heard this many times and must have seen it many times, let's dive in to know more. On-Page SEO is the most important term because this is the 1st thing your visitor will see when they’ll come to your website. It's moreover like the look and feel of your website. And it's all meant by CONTENT. All On-Page of your website depends on how effectively you build the quality content, content shouldn’t be only content it should be problem solving, informative at least better than so many sources out there because there are many websites having the same content like you do so be ready to build quality content. As content is important, there are many other needs to be taken care of to have a Strong SEO of your website.

2. Off-Page SEO


It is the 2nd side of the SEO coin, it is as important as On-Page. This is the most crucial or bit difficult part of SEO. As content has been taken by On-Page then what is left for Off-Page? Let's find out, Link building is the key to Off-Page, Getting the links from authorized sites having quality content is the main motto. And this is gonna make a HUGE difference in ranking your site but one link isn’t gonna do everything you’ve to build a Lot to see the difference and to rank your website. Social Media is another great platform to build the links and connections, Use all types of platforms like FB, Twitter, LinkedIn & share your quality content and links & see the Magic. Build positive relationships with bloggers, social media influencers. Commenting, guest blogging are still good practices to build quality links.

3. Technical SEO


So here is the behind the scene of SEO, technical SEO isn’t playing a role on screen but off-screen he’s the Hero. Behind the website you need to take care of lots of things besides On-Page & Off-Page. Those Technical things comes under this e.g. Page Speed, robot.txt file, Coding things, Images Optimization, Sitemap, All Redirects & Many more. As you’ll go into deep you’ll understand it better by doing and will come to know about more factors. So Technical SEO helps your website to run smoothly and load faster. If you’ve all these 3 factors On-Page, Off-Page, Technical SEO in the same proportion you’re halfway there.


4. Local SEO


This is the most efficient way to gain traffic to your website & it has nothing to do with normal SEO things, It is related to Maps, Address and local listings. If you search something & if you’ve observed carefully 1st you’ll see paid ads then you’ll see local listings(Map addresses) then you'll see our SEO results. At the very 1st everyone wants to focus on Organic then somewhere to paid, So Local SEO is the best way to get more traffic organically after normal SEO.

  • Always Take Reviews of Your Happy Customers

  • Optimize Given All Features

  • Create Local Stories & Event

  • Have Location Optimized Page in The Website

  • Optimized Website For Mobile

  • Should Use Local Keywords

  • Should List in Local Directories


  • Search Engine Marketing (SEM) / Pay Per Click (PPC)


You must be wondering why I've written these two terms together even though they're way different, let me clear your doubts, SEM comes from SEO if your SEO is better SEM will be the Best, still lot's of confusion let's dig in, SEM means ad's you'll see on search engines like Google or Bing and you do it on the basis of keywords. Now PPC, it's also a form of ad but the difference is you can have this ad everywhere on any platform and you'll ONLY pay for the ad IF the user clicks.   • Social Media Marketing (SMM)


This is the most loving part of Digital Marketing which every marketer loves. We all know social media and how every platform works because we use it everyday, social media is a crucial part of our lives. But now we've to flip the coin and try to see the technical side of it and how we can turn our social media craze into our daily bread and butter. There are many social channels available and every organization is using them as per their requirements. Social channels like Twitter, LinkedIn, FB, Instagram and many more. You can do organic as well as paid marketing for these channels. E.g. Twitter and LinkedIn are basically for B2B and FB and Instagram are basically for B2C. You can use them accordingly. But it's always been fun using social media as a part of work routine, you'll always know something more advanced than other people.



  • Content Marketing


Here is the KING of everything. Without a content website and marketing is nothing, if you've very eye-catching website and low quality content then visitors will come and go & that will directly affect your Rankings. So your website should've best quality content on every page and should be updated on a regular basis. Updating content is more important to stay strong on your best ranking, it isn't necessary to update content on every page e.g. you can have a blog section or news section where you can have updates. And this is the one question you should ask yourself every time you want to update any content because this matters to Google - Does my website solve their questions or give information related to their questions? You should ask this every single time while uploading content.

Now after doing everything, how you gonna measure the thing's, like whatever you've done, whether it's useful or not, whether visitors are coming or not? Google has solved this problem already. Google is having Google Analytics and Search Console (webmaster) to measure our efforts. You just have to login and add your analytics or webmaster code in the website and you're ready to measure everything. From visitors location till browser, and many more things. And in webmaster you'll be particularly knowing about technical stuff like page errors, sitemap, robot.txt file and one more important thing you'll come to know the exact keyword user is searching and then coming to your website.
